These terms are between you and Lazarus Labs, LLC, which operates Leave the List. By paying for a case you agree to them.

The service

For a one-time fee of $20, we send one round of privacy requests in your name — deletion, opt-out of sale or sharing, and objection to direct marketing — to each data broker in our registry, from the Gmail or Outlook account you connect. We send one second notice where a broker has not confirmed, classify the replies, forward the ones that need you, and email you a final case record. This is a single case, not ongoing monitoring.

What we cannot promise

Brokers decide how to handle requests. Some verify identity, some only accept their own forms, and some refuse. Records can reappear later from new sources. Copies of your data already held by a broker’s customers are not recalled. We do not guarantee that any broker deletes your data, and “not confirmed” in your case record means no written confirmation arrived, not that the broker broke the law. We are not a law firm and do not give legal advice.

Your part

  • You must be the person named in the case, and the details you give must be accurate. You may only connect an email account that is yours and that you are removing.
  • You authorize us to send the requests described above from your connected account, and nothing else.
  • Where a broker needs you — to verify identity or to use its own form — we tell you; completing it is up to you.

Payment and refunds

Payment is taken by Stripe at checkout. Refunds follow our refund policy.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim about the service is limited to the amount you paid for it, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer-protection law that cannot be waived.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms; the version on the date you paid applies to your case. Questions: privacy@leavethelist.com. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections where you live.

Leave the List

Removes your work contact details from 128 B2B data brokers.
